A smile is louder because it screams that you're happy and people notice that - it spreads like a virus. A wink is more subtle and mysterious - if you blink you'll miss it. A wink is usually just aimed at one person.
A smile is louder! A smile shows people you are friendly, a smile helps you say things without using words! For example, a smile could tell someone hey wanna be friends! A wink would just say hi or good luck. A smile is so loud you could probably stand on theempire state building smile down to people and they would smile back or they would scream omg! Because you are standing on top of theempire state building. You should smile very very often, don't just wink ;)
